Filiberto Richie hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Ladislao Bixintxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Felipe Gines fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Saturno FC's Maximino Barros couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Unidos FC. Romeo Ignado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Bixintxo's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Bixintxo to make the kick off. The referee ignored Unidos FC's protests and gave Horacio Salvatore a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Unidos FC's Horacio Salvatore got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Dalmacio Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, one of Unidos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Unidos FC. After having played for 79 minutes, Epifanio Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Karlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saturno FC's goalkeeper Eustacio Gorri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute Dalmacio Pes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Gorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Fanuco during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 94 minutes into the match, Unidos FC's Dalmacio Pes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustacio Gorri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Epifanio Karlo was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
