Spectators: 6792 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ladislao Bixintxo started the match with the kick off. In the 7th match minute, Saturno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Artal to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, VELEZ A MORIR's goalkeeper Anier Silvanito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apolo Frantzes. Eustacio Gorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Ilixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 25 played minutes VELEZ A MORIR got a freekick which was hit by Omar Ilixo. After a defensive mix-up in Saturno FC's zone, Narciso Hulberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustacio Gorri came out of the goal and Narciso Hulberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Ilixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Frantzes got free with Anier Silvanito in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Omar Ilixo took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Gorri. Eustacio Gorri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Omar Ilixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apolo Frantzes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Anier Silvanito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturno FC's Ladislao Bixintxo got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Ilixo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Omar Ilixo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saturno FC's Eustacio Gorri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ricardo Ondino fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VELEZ A MORIR's protests and gave Ricardo Ondino a yellow card for diving instead. Apolo Frantzes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Silvanito having to interfere. Eustacio Gorri made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Leopoldo Gaur sent off a good shot on target. Anier Silvanito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Bixintxo in the 72nd minute of the match. When Apolo Frantzes came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Saturno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Frantzes couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Hulberto got free with Eustacio Gorri in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eustacio Gorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Ilixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Omar Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Gorri having to interfere. The supporters of VELEZ A MORIR booed when Saturno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Artal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Saturno FC's zone, Narciso Hulberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustacio Gorri came out of the goal and Narciso Hulberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Omar Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VELEZ A MORIR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
