With his leg Epifanio Olo managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when VELEZ A MORIR's Narciso Hulberto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anier Silvanito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Frisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Eriberto Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Anier Silvanito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Lesardo lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 22nd minute, one of Verónica FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Verónica FC. After some careless play in the Verónica FC defense, Dionisio Bizen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Olo. The Verónica FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Olo should have stopped the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Eriberto Izotz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VELEZ A MORIR's Anier Silvanito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pablo Palos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Silvanito having to interfere. If Casimiro Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Orlan thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Anier Silvanito, a very annoying self made goal in the 46th minute which led to 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Ilixo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Dionisio Bizen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Epifanio Olo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Ilixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a little luck, VELEZ A MORIR's Anier Silvanito got control of the ball when Clodoveo Frisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pablo Palos might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anier Silvanito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Palos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind VELEZ A MORIR's goalkeeper Anier Silvanito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in VELEZ A MORIR's zone, Clodoveo Frisco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Silvanito came out of the goal and Clodoveo Frisco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Verónica FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
