Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guillermo Illan started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Jarillito got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Leoncio. Juan Rexino, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 7th minute, Francisco Leoncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Artemio Demario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Ezkerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jarillito's zone, Guillermo Illan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Ezkerra came out of the goal and Guillermo Illan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ladislao Ezkerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Demario's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Artemio Demario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ladislao Ezkerra having to make a save. Ladislao Ezkerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Illan in the 19th minute of play. Artemio Demario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ladislao Ezkerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Ezkerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Illan went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 36 played minutes Magdalena got a freekick which was hit by Julio Celio. Magdalena's Artemio Demario got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Artemio Demario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ladislao Ezkerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ladislao Ezkerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Illan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Artemio Demario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Ladislao Ezkerra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Guillermo Illan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ladislao Ezkerra having to make a save. Guillermo Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Ezkerra having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Francisco Leoncio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jarillito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magdalena the free kick. A collision led to Jarillito getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Francisco Leoncio hit a great ball. After 64 minutes, Juan Rexino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magdalena and the Jarillito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Juan Rexino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Guillermo Illan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 76 minutes of play, Magdalena's Artemio Demario made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ladislao Ezkerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Jarillito's Julio Lertxun got a free kick in the 81st minute. The supporters of Magdalena booed when Jarillito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Gentza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Demario in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislao Ezkerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillermo Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Jarillito booed when Magdalena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Millan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Apolo Marino in the 94th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Orlando Duardo's left hand side. A collision led to Magdalena getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Tomás Grabiel hit a great ball. Magdalena's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
