Teofilo Pierres was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justino Lucila during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Tapiales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Lucila to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, one of Club Atlético Chimichurri:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alfredo Arnas charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Arnas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Alfredo Arnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Chimichurri's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Gabirel came free, but Moises Gregory reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Club Atlético Chimichurri got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Arnas. Alfredo Arnas kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Maurino in the 45th minute of play forced Club Atlético Chimichurri's goalkeeper Moises Gregory to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Edgardo Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tapiales FC's Antonio Gonsalve got a free kick in the 54th minute. Justino Lucila hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Edgardo Gabirel sped through Club Atlético Chimichurri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Moises Gregory. Froilan Misael struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Teofilo Pierres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Chimichurri. Edgardo Gabirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Moises Gregory tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Dino kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Froilan Misael made a precise shot to the right of Teofilo Pierres. Tapiales FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
