Emanuel Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Teodosio Gora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Phelipe during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Romeo Phelipe kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, los troncos's goalkeeper Julio Peli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeo Salbatore. After 32 minutes, Nicasio Cordarrol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the los troncos and the Club Cultural Gerli players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes los troncos got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Cordarrol. Amadeo Salbatore scored 2-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Peli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Aballe in the 37th minute of play forced Club Cultural Gerli's goalkeeper Teodosio Gora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Peli made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Amadeo Salbatore sent off a good shot on target. los troncos's Julio Peli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save los troncos from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Aballe in the 45th minute of play forced Club Cultural Gerli's goalkeeper Teodosio Gora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Club Cultural Gerli booed when los troncos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Ofelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Quinito scored 3-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Peli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Cultural Gerli's Teodosio Gora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Librado in the 72nd minute of play. Emanuel Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Gora having to interfere. Emanuel Aballe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 minutes, Nunez Lucila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Cultural Gerli and the los troncos players grew even worse after the yellow card.
