Jarillito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute, Honorio Millan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ladislao Ezkerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Cordarryl in the 16th minute of play. Matias Gentza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Txomin having to interfere. Aurelio Senio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Txomin having to interfere. Nemesio Cordarryl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ladislao Ezkerra having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Honorio Millan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ladislao Ezkerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Blas Cerilo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nemesio Cordarryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Ezkerra having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Ernesto Iban notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Jarillito's Ladislao Ezkerra. Ladislao Ezkerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnaldo Txomin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Senio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Senio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Txomin having to interfere. When Nemesio Cordarryl came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Club Sportivo Barracas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Cordarryl couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Senio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Txomin having to make a save. Aurelio Senio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Txomin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. If Matias Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Txomin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Senio in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Jarillito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Enaut to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Jarillito's goalkeeper Ladislao Ezkerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Cordarryl. In the 86th minute Honorio Millan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Ezkerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Aurelio Senio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarillito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Senio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Club Sportivo Barracas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Sportivo Barracas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
