The supporters of Magdalena booed when Central Sportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The tension between the Central Sportivo and the Magdalena players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Central Sportivo getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Valentin Abella hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Illan in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Patxi saved Central Sportivo from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Central Sportivo's Valentin Abella got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Central Sportivo's goalkeeper Eugenio Patxi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Demario. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roque Fe to make the kick off. In the 59th minute of the match, Gualterio Azevedo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orlando Duardo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 60th match minute, Magdalena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Demario to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Abella was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Central Sportivo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Central Sportivo's Gualterio Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rdth minute of the game Serafino Quilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Central Sportivo's Eugenio Patxi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 79 played minutes Central Sportivo got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Fortun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Rexino in the 80th minute of play forced Central Sportivo's goalkeeper Eugenio Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Magdalena booed when Central Sportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee gave Valentin Abella a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Magdalena's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
