Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Everardo Librado started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Artemio Demario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Julio Peli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Peli came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Magdalena's Jonas Bide. But to his dismay, Jonas Bide quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Guillermo Illan came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Magdalena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Illan couldn't finish the play. Julio Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Demario in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Benedicto Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Magdalena's Juan Rexino got a free kick in the 19th minute. los troncos's Julio Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Demario in the 21st minute of play. Julio Peli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artemio Demario went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Magdalena's Guillermo Illan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Peli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vicente Ofelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlando Duardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Ofelio ran back to his position shaking his head. los troncos's Vicente Ofelio got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Demario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Grabiel in the 42nd minute of play forced los troncos's goalkeeper Julio Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Librado in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when Guillermo Illan made the kick off in the second half. Nicasio Cordarrol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Duardo having to interfere. Julio Peli acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Juan Rexino. Orlando Duardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Librado, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Julio Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Illan in the 58th minute of play. Julio Peli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Bide in the 60th minute. If Vicente Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artemio Demario during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Artemio Demario kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Artemio Demario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Peli. los troncos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Demario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Julio Peli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Bide in the 80th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Magdalena:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of los troncos:s goal. Orlando Duardo went to the wrong direction when Nicasio Cordarrol was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
