Spectators: 6765 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Prudencio Vito made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Nemesio Cordarryl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, Mateo Cordaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Angelo Chale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Maju in the 13th minute of play forced Club Sportivo Barracas's goalkeeper Arnaldo Txomin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Club Sportivo Barracas got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Iban. Nemesio Cordarryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Mendiko having to interfere. Roque Mendiko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Millan's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Tomás Maju recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Maju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Prudencio Vito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Txomin. Club Sportivo Barracas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Vito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Tala AFC's Tomás Maju in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Sportivo Barracas's goalie prevented a goal. After 41 played minutes Club Sportivo Barracas got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Iban. Tomás Maju took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo Txomin. Arnaldo Txomin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorio Millan to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Everardo Nikola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tala AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Nikola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaldo Txomin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Vito in the 57th minute of play. Prudencio Vito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Txomin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Honorio Millan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Mendiko was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Roque Mendiko came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Sportivo Barracas's Honorio Millan. But to his dismay, Honorio Millan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nemesio Cordarryl in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roque Mendiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nemesio Cordarryl struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Roque Mendiko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo Barracas. When Prudencio Vito came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Tala AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Vito couldn't finish the play. Tala AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
