Club Cultural Gerli's players were relieved. In the 7th match minute, Central Sportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sazon to maneuver through the defense. Club Cultural Gerli's Romeo Phelipe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Central Sportivo. Club Cultural Gerli's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Valentin Abella 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Ruben Raitin made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Amadeo Salbatore. Eugenio Patxi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Salbatore in the 21st minute of play. Valentin Abella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Teodosio Gora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Central Sportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Abella to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Gualterio Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Gora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Patxi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Raymond in the 38th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gualterio Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teodosio Gora. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. Eugenio Patxi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

After 56 minutes, Nicolas Cambranes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Central Sportivo and the Club Cultural Gerli players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Central Sportivo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nicolas Cambranes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Raymond in the 58th minute of play forced Central Sportivo's goalkeeper Eugenio Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Patxi made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Amadeo Salbatore sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Valentin Abella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Abella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Gora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Raymond in the 77th minute of play forced Central Sportivo's goalkeeper Eugenio Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualterio Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Teodosio Gora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Central Sportivo. Gualterio Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gualterio Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Central Sportivo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Teodosio Gora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Azevedo in the 90th minute of play. Hugo Quinito hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, Central Sportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Sol to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Central Sportivo's zone, Amadeo Salbatore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Patxi came out of the goal and Amadeo Salbatore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Cultural Gerli players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Central Sportivo.
