Aurelio Senio might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Emesto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience was convinced that Silvestre Iaki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislao Ezkerra was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Iaki in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislao Ezkerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ladislao Ezkerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Iaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eusebio Lohitzun came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Haedo Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Lohitzun couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Silvestre Iaki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 played minutes Jarillito got a freekick which was hit by Julio Lertxun. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Lohitzun in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislao Ezkerra saved Jarillito from getting behind. Silvestre Iaki might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Ezkerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvestre Iaki ran back to his position shaking his head. Ladislao Ezkerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Iaki went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute Matias Gentza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Emesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Emesto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matias Gentza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 39 minute of play. Ladislao Ezkerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Lohitzun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Gentza to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Oskarbi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Silvestre Iaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Apolo Marino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jarillito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haedo Fútbol Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Jarillito's Apolo Marino got a free kick in the 57th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Francisco Leoncio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jarillito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haedo Fútbol Club the free kick. The supporters of Haedo Fútbol Club booed when Jarillito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Leoncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Jarillito defense, Eusebio Lohitzun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ladislao Ezkerra. The Jarillito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ladislao Ezkerra should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Jarillito's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Iaki came free, but Ladislao Ezkerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Dionisio Macias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Marino, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eusebio Lohitzun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Ezkerra having to interfere. Silvestre Iaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Emesto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Senio went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Silvestre Iaki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haedo Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Iaki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislao Ezkerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusebio Lohitzun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ladislao Ezkerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Iaki in the 94th minute of the match. Eusebio Lohitzun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ladislao Ezkerra made a huge save. When Basilio Manuelo fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jarillito's protests and gave Basilio Manuelo a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jarillito! When the match had been going on for 100 minutes, Haedo Fútbol Club's Dionisio Macias got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ladislao Ezkerra.
