After 8 played minutes Zuberbühler got a freekick which was hit by Israel Hug. If Camilo Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Quinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Tebaldo in the 20th minute of play. Camilo Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rodrigo Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Ceferino Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. EL TALA's Nestor Roldan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save EL TALA from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Lucio Beltran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Quinton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Camilo Tebaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL TALA's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Tebaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Quinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Angelo Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes, Norberto Cedro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL TALA and the Zuberbühler players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Norberto Cedro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Camilo Tebaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Lucio Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL TALA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Beltran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute of the match, Camilo Tebaldo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodrigo Quinton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pascual Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Roldan having to interfere. In the 66thth minute of the game Angelo Gomesano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL TALA's Nestor Roldan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelo Gomesano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Roldan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Lucio Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL TALA's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Beltran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Quinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Pascual Gai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Roldan. EL TALA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Gai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Pascual Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Roldan having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Gomesano in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Roldan saved EL TALA from getting behind.
