In the 31st minute, Teofilo Bembe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Quinton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Fermin Bertin struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Rodrigo Quinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kassimpasa FC. The Kassimpasa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

In the 73rd minute Angelo Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Hunfredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler's Angelo Gomesano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustino Hunfredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Zuberbühler booed when Kassimpasa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Lehen didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kassimpasa FC had played much better football throughout.
