Venancio Darien was a little too slow when Pascual Gai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Guillermo Mingo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Quinton having to interfere. Venancio Darien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pascual Gai came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Zuberbühler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Gai couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Gomesano in the 29th minute of play forced Nacimienta's goalkeeper Venancio Darien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Gomesano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Venancio Darien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Nacimienta's goalkeeper Venancio Darien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Gai. When Angelo Gomesano came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Zuberbühler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Gomesano couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Nacimienta's goalkeeper Venancio Darien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Gai. Pascual Gai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillermo Elodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rodrigo Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Angelo Gomesano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Darien having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Gonsalvo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Darien saved Nacimienta from getting behind. Alfonso Hernandez hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Angelo Gomesano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Darien read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Zuberbühler:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nacimienta:s goal. In the 68th minute, Pascual Gai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Gomesano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Darien read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Rodrigo Quinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 91st minute, Pascual Gai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Venancio Darien was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Venancio Darien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Zuberbühler's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
