But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Gomesano couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Quinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Jacob in the 8th minute of the match. Celso Hermelando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rodrigo Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Gai scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florencio Liher, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Zuberbühler's Angelo Gomesano in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 28th minute Maximo Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Quinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Zuberbühler's Angelo Gomesano in the 32nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Florencio Liher was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for jumanji FC through an amazing save. Silvestre Hodei's late challenge caught a Zuberbühler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvestre Hodei helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, jumanji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Hodei to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Gomesano in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Liher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pascual Gai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Quinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Jacob, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. jumanji FC's Celso Hermelando got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Jacob to make the kick off. Ceferino Gonsalvo struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Florencio Liher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuberbühler. The supporters of Zuberbühler booed when jumanji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Matai didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Nikola during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Zuberbühler got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Nikola. If Celso Hermelando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Celso Hermelando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rodrigo Quinton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. jumanji FC's Celso Hermelando got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 minutes, Saverio Sindo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zuberbühler and the jumanji FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. jumanji FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
