Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The corner led EL TALA's Bernardino Panpili to fire away a dangerous shot which Rafael Jerardo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Honorato Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Roldan having to interfere. Rafael Jerardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Tebaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the game, Rafael Lauaxeta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rayo Cruel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL TALA the free kick. Rafael Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Edgard Toli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Guerau in the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Santiago Guerau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rayo Cruel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Guerau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Santiago Guerau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Jerardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Tebaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. EL TALA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
