EL TALA's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Beltran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Elixio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Tebaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Lucio Beltran reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aldo Elixio. The goal made the score 1-0. If Niceto Clis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Elixio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Tebaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Sebastian Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Elixio having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Tebaldo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Elixio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aldo Elixio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Tebaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Aldo Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Beltran in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Tebaldo in the 56th minute of play forced Taringa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Camilo Tebaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aldo Elixio. Taringa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camilo Tebaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After having played for 60 minutes, Lucio Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL TALA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Beltran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliciano Sotil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Nestor Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Adrian Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taringa FC's Placido Alonso couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for EL TALA. Nestor Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Clis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Beltran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Aldo Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Elixio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Taringa FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for EL TALA.
