German Lohitzun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SP Enfirrados. Mario Eusko made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 17thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Benigno Guerrero would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When Ruben Millrick came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Torpedo hepatico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Millrick couldn't finish the play. Mario Eusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Millrick in the 24th minute of play forced SP Enfirrados's goalkeeper Benigno Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. German Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Paulino Beturian fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SP Enfirrados's protests and gave Paulino Beturian a yellow card for diving instead. Paulino Beturian kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Mario Eusko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 34 played minutes SP Enfirrados got a freekick which was hit by Albino Erdiano. Mario Euskos short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Benigno Guerrero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute Celestino Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torpedo hepatico's German Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Medero in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Torpedo hepatico's zone, Herminio Telesforo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Lohitzun came out of the goal and Herminio Telesforo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celestino Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. German Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Herminio Telesforo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. German Lohitzun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half SP Enfirrados were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruben Millrick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. German Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Medero in the 54th minute of play. When SP Enfirrados's Celestino Medero in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Benigno Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Eusko in the 95th minute of play. Ruben Millrick scored 1-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Guerrero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
