Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amado Mogel started the match with the kick off. Cazafantasma FC's Constantino Frichoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Cazafantasma FC from getting a goal against them. Esteban Lluciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Frichoso having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Cazafantasma FC's goalkeeper Constantino Frichoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Roderigo. Joaquin Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Fernando Dayam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Luis Roderigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Laspeyres FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Roderigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantino Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Constantino Frichoso was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Esteban Lluciano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Esteban Lluciano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Constantino Frichoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Lluciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Fernando Dayam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Paz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Ledesma during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ceferino Ledesma kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Cazafantasma FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Bizi. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Laspeyres FC's Jairo Frechoso tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Roderigo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Frichoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Deportivo Laspeyres FC booed when Cazafantasma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Bizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Lluciano in the 30th minute of the match. Esteban Lluciano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantino Frichoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 39 played minutes, Deportivo Laspeyres FC's Baldomiro Mede shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Constantino Frichoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Laspeyres FC reached it. Joaquin Paz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteban Lluciano to make the kick off. Deportivo Laspeyres FC's Fernando Dayam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Mogel in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Lluciano in the 65th minute of play forced Cazafantasma FC's goalkeeper Constantino Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Lluciano in the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Esteban Lluciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Lluciano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantino Frichoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Deportivo Laspeyres FC's Luis Roderigo got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Laspeyres FC's Jose Jerico got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Amado Mogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Esteban Lluciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantino Frichoso was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. If Joaquin Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Dayam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Mogel, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Esteban Lluciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantino Frichoso having to make a save. In the 98th minute, Ceferino Ledesma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Laspeyres FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
