After 61 played minutes Deportivo Antideportivo got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Txanton. In the 63rd minute Everardo Gipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Otsoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Severiano George was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Antideportivo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes AFC the free kick.
