Cleto Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Eleder in the 4th minute of play. Arnulfo Izel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Martxot in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, Sorrento FC's Adrian Eriz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnulfo Izel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Luisito Lop fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorrento FC's protests and gave Luisito Lop a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sorrento FC's Luisito Lop got a free kick in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Anier Eleder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Claus was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. A collision led to Sorrento FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Arnoldo Procopio hit a great ball. Sorrento FC's Nereo Martxot got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Sorrento FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Eriz to maneuver through the defense. If Anier Eleder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrian Eriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnulfo Izel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Eriz's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. With an all-out effort, Landetta's Cleto Claus threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anier Eleder, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anier Eleder to strike the kick off in the second half. Cleto Claus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Iturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Adrian Eriz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anier Eleder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cleto Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Landetta's Anier Eleder got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cleto Claus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Eleder, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Adrian Eriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Anier Eleder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Claus was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Sorrento FC's Cleto Claus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Eleder in the 74th minute of play. Arnulfo Izel came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Sorrento FC's Nereo Martxot. But to his dismay, Nereo Martxot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sorrento FC's Cleto Claus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Eleder in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Sorrento FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Nereo Martxot hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Anier Eleder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chants of Sorrento FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Landetta had held the ball for most of the match.
