Martin Lucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lauaxeta in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Basilio Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Rocca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Mambru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Basilio Mambru took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Abelardo Sansone to make any attempt to save it. Martin Lucero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Firme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Mambru was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Deportivo Rocca's Martin Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Lauaxeta in the 31st minute of play. After 32 played minutes Deportivo Rocca got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Alonso. In the 35th minute Narciso Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Lauaxeta in the 48th minute of play forced Deportivo Rocca's goalkeeper Martin Lucero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Firme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes La Bandaaa got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Tonio. In the 57th minute Albino Miro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Abelardo Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Lucero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albino Miro in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Sansone saved La Bandaaa from getting behind. With an all-out effort, La Bandaaa's Martin Lucero threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martin Firme, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 72 played minutes Deportivo Rocca got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Gamus. In the 77th minute, Martin Firme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 played minutes La Bandaaa got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Tonio. Juan Lauaxeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Martin Lucero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Firme in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Lucero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ambrosio Paskal fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Rocca's protests and gave Ambrosio Paskal a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Lucero had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Gonzalo Bento's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when La Bandaaa's Gonzalo Bento after 96 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Deportivo Rocca's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La Bandaaa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
