Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 5) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adrian Eriz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cleto Claus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Satordi in the 5th minute of the match. Peña's Eulalio Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Diego Ariando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nereo Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrian Eriz succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Santiago Satordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cleto Claus came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Peña's Eulalio Suarez. But to his dismay, Eulalio Suarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 36th match minute, Peña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Peña's Fabian Feliz got control of the ball when Ramon Bernal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabian Feliz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Martxot in the 40th minute. Santiago Satordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Claus having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eulalio Suarez to make the kick off. Eulalio Suarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Santiago Satordi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peña's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Satordi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eulalio Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Claus having to interfere. Cleto Claus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Martxot in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Feliz saved Peña from getting behind. Peña's Fabricio Paul shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cleto Claus but with some difficulty. When Eulalio Suarez came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Peña fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Suarez couldn't finish the play. The long shot by Daniel Ipar in the 79th minute really tested Cleto Claus's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Sorrento FC's Adrian Eriz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Feliz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sorrento FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peña had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
