The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Galsino got free with Jonathan Telmo in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the game, Robustiano Salvadore recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Telmo. Robustiano Salvadore showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Robustiano Salvadore was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Villa Madero FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Salvadore in the 16th minute of play forced Amaichá AFC's goalkeeper Jonathan Telmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Froilan Frederico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amaichá AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Frederico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Maurin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Jaunzuria during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robustiano Salvadore to make the kick off. If Froilan Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Amaichá AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
