The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Prudencio Bembe charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prudencio Bembe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Prudencio Bembe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With splendid footwork Israel Nayely arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 9th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Valentin Vincent shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Jaizki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Israel Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mitre FC booed when Acebal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Adrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardino Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bernardino Mantzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pedro Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acebal's Pedro Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Nayely in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mitre FC's zone, Prudencio Bembe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Jaizki came out of the goal and Prudencio Bembe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Israel Nayely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Israel Nayely to make the kick off. Ramon Louis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alfredo Jaizki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Prudencio Bembe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Jaizki was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Israel Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Pedro Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Prudencio Bembe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acebal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Bembe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Prudencio Bembe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Jaizki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Acebal's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Nayely came free, but Pedro Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Israel Nayely got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Nayely in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Acebal's Prudencio Bembe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
