But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Ciano couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Miranda FC booed when Deportivo Escritorio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Arnau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Genaro Manuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Astor Tab's late challenge caught a Deportivo Escritorio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Tab helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Deportivo Escritorio booed when Miranda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Tab didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Timoteo Matthew made the kick off in the second half. Octavio Fiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Miranda FC defense, Timoteo Matthew kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Roland. The Miranda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Roland should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Tab got free with Fausto Federigo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Roland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Matthew in the 75th minute of play. Feliberto Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Pedro Roland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Timoteo Matthew had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Roland. Miranda FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timoteo Matthew was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Pedro Roland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Matthew in the 83rd minute of the match. If Nicanor Amato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Feliberto Duardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Escritorio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miranda FC the free kick. Feliberto Duardo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Timoteo Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Escritorio's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Matthew was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Roland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Roland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
