Alejandro Firman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Bartolo Mateus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alfredo Jaizki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Mateus scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Jaizki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Alejandro Firman managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Mitre FC's Bernardino Mantzio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Bartolo Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardino Mantzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Firman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mitre FC's Emilio Ur got a free kick in the 31st minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Bernardino Mantzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mitre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Mantzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Mitre FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ismael Lartaun hit a great ball. Cristo Baraquiel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Jaizki. Mitre FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Machado during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mitre FC booed when Dematik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardino Mantzio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Alejandro Firman made a huge save. Israel Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alejandro Firman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Israel Nayely to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Dematik's zone, Bernardino Mantzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Firman came out of the goal and Bernardino Mantzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Lorenz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardino Mantzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Firman having to interfere. Bernardino Mantzio struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Alejandro Firman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mitre FC. After 77 minutes, Adrian Hulberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dematik and the Mitre FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dematik getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ildefonso Telesforo hit a great ball. Israel Nayely struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Alejandro Firman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mitre FC. Alfredo Jaizki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Mateus in the 84th minute of the match. If Bartolo Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes Mitre FC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Ur. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Mateus in the 89th minute of play forced Mitre FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Jaizki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, Mitre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Arias to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Mitre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Mateus came free, but Alfredo Jaizki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Dematik supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dematik would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
