Leon Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Sarracino, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Christian Bertran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvio Panpili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Todo una Mentira FC's Elvio Panpili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Todo una Mentira FC from getting a goal against them. Constantino Oliveiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Panpili was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Constantino Oliveiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Elvio Panpili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Oliveiro in the 35th minute of play. Leon Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Orain in the 37th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Oliveiro made a kick off. After 67 minutes, Nemesio Sarracino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Todo una Mentira FC and the Ateneo Estrada players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Todo una Mentira FC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Sarracino. Nemesio Sarracino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Abaunza having to interfere. Todo una Mentira FC's Nemesio Sarracino got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celso Orain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Leon Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Todo una Mentira FC's goalkeeper Elvio Panpili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elvio Panpili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Bertran went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Todo una Mentira FC's Nemesio Sarracino got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Todo una Mentira FC's Celso Orain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Abaunza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leon Abaunza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Sarracino in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Ateneo Estrada's goalkeeper Leon Abaunza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Sarracino. After recieving a nice pass, Ateneo Estrada's Severo Lizbeth tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ateneo Estrada's Leon Abaunza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Ateneo Estrada from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ateneo Estrada had won after a very even match.
