In the 10thth minute of the game Prudencio Bembe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ateneo Estrada's Leon Abaunza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pastor Koldo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes, Acebal's Valentin Vincent shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leon Abaunza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Acebal reached it. In the 15th match minute, Ateneo Estrada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Honrio to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes of play, Acebal's Prudencio Bembe made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Abaunza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christian Bertran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Constantino Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ateneo Estrada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Oliveiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Ateneo Estrada's Constantino Oliveiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Montez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 35 minutes, Inocencio Honrio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ateneo Estrada and the Acebal players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Christian Bertran got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramon Louis was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ramon Louis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acebal's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Louis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Abaunza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramon Louis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ateneo Estrada's Leon Abaunza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Ateneo Estrada from getting a goal against them. Aaron Musko's late challenge caught a Ateneo Estrada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Musko helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ateneo Estrada booed when Acebal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Musko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Constantino Oliveiro made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Montez. Acebal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Pedro Montez came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Ateneo Estrada's Constantino Oliveiro. But to his dismay, Constantino Oliveiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Ateneo Estrada's Jeremias Emesto got a free kick in the 71st minute. Acebal's Aaron Musko got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Aaron Musko off the ground. In the 73rd minute, Aaron Musko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Constantino Oliveiro put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Montez. In the 79th minute, Christian Bertran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st match minute, Acebal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Vincent to maneuver through the defense. Christian Bertran struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Pedro Montez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ateneo Estrada. When Adrian Herena fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ateneo Estrada's protests and gave Adrian Herena a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Adrian Herena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ateneo Estrada booed when Acebal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Oliveiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
