Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hugo Mergildo started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Icaño AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Abascal to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Mergildo struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Generoso Bingen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Icaño AFC. A collision led to Icaño AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ladislao Sanson hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Hugo Mergildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute Hugo Mergildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Bingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Mergildo had several of the Pali Vol's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Generoso Bingen as he didn't even see the shot coming. Icaño AFC's Hugo Mergildo got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo Timo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Maule in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Timo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Xacintu saved Icaño AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Hugo Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icaño AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Mergildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Bingen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Generoso Bingen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Sarracino in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

57 minutes into the match, Pali Vol's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Sarracino came free, but Generoso Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Timo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Maule in the 64th minute of play forced Icaño AFC's goalkeeper Tobias Xacintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnaldo Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Alonzo Maule fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Arnaldo Timo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Icaño AFC's Ladislao Sanson got a free kick in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Icaño AFC's Cristo Argi got a free kick in the 86th minute. Arnaldo Timo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tobias Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Mergildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Arnaldo Timo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pali Vol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Timo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Igor Ilazki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Timo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
