In the 7th minute Octavio Jakes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Asier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tobias Xacintu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tobias Xacintu had great luck who in the 14thth minute grab hold of the ball when Teobaldo Asier from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Teobaldo Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Octavio Jakes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AREGUA SOCCER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Octavio Jakes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Xacintu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Teobaldo Asier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tobias Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hugo Mergildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AREGUA SOCCER's Bartolo Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Sarracino in the 32nd minute of play. Cristo Argi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Octavio Jakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Asier in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Xacintu saved Icaño AFC from getting behind. Teobaldo Asier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Xacintu having to make a save. Octavio Jakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Xacintu having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Mergildo made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Rodolfo Nikola managed to get in a good position for a shot. AREGUA SOCCER's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Nikola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Xacintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Nikola took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Xacintu. Tobias Xacintu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 59th minute, Arnoldo Sarracino made a precise shot to the right of Bartolo Gudesteo. AREGUA SOCCER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Ladislao Sanson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Icaño AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Jakes came free, but Tobias Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Xacintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Jakes, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 76 played minutes Icaño AFC got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Ostadar. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Octavio Jakes managed to get in a good position for a shot. AREGUA SOCCER's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Jakes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Xacintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Asier notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Icaño AFC's Tobias Xacintu. Tobias Xacintu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tobias Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Nikola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Rodolfo Nikola managed to get in a good position for a shot. AREGUA SOCCER's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Nikola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Xacintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cristo Argi fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Icaño AFC's protests and gave Cristo Argi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AREGUA SOCCER booed when Icaño AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes Icaño AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Argi. 97 minutes into the game, Hilario Eguzki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AREGUA SOCCER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Icaño AFC the free kick. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AREGUA SOCCER! AREGUA SOCCER's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
