The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Icaño AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Freddy Txaran hit a great ball. Patagonia FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximo Senon in the 18th minute. The corner led Patagonia FC's Bonifacio Salvatore to fire away a dangerous shot which Tobias Xacintu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tobias Xacintu made an important save on a dangerous shot by 孟宁晨 in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Icaño AFC booed when Patagonia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. If 孟宁晨 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Icaño AFC's zone, Albino Etxepare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Xacintu came out of the goal and Albino Etxepare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 孟宁晨 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tobias Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albino Etxepare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Xacintu having to interfere. Patagonia FC's Serafin Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Mergildo in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Albino Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patagonia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Etxepare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Xacintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Mergildo made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Albino Etxepare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patagonia FC and the Icaño AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Patagonia FC's Albino Etxepare got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Icaño AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Salvatore came free, but Tobias Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albino Etxepare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Xacintu having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Albino Etxepare notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Icaño AFC's Tobias Xacintu. Tobias Xacintu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Patagonia FC's 孟宁晨 got a free kick in the 65th minute. Arnoldo Sarracino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Gaizko lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 69 minutes into the game, one of Patagonia FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 75th minute Bonifacio Salvatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Etxepare fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 87th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Icaño AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Patagonia FC had controlled the match.
