In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Independencia. Benedicto Darien stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rafael Oidor. 0-1. After some careless play in the Los Reyes Locos defense, Jeremias Venceslas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Oidor. The Los Reyes Locos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Oidor should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Burutzagi in the 28th minute of play forced Los Reyes Locos's goalkeeper Rafael Oidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Elpidio Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Oidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Teodoro Burutzagi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Burutzagi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Burutzagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rafael Oidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Teodoro Burutzagi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elpidio Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Oidor having to interfere. When Elpidio Urbes came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Independencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Urbes couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Teodoro Burutzagi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Burutzagi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Oidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elpidio Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Oidor having to interfere. Rafael Oidor was a little too slow when Teodoro Burutzagi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Basajaun in the 89th minute of play forced Los Reyes Locos's goalkeeper Rafael Oidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
