Pali Vol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Timo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Canaleja FC's Eulalio Ekialde in the 44th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Generoso Bingen was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pali Vol through an amazing save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eulalio Ekialde was the one to do the kick off. The nice shot from Arnaldo Timo in the 51stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Gustavo Librado had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Generoso Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Ekialde, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Pali Vol's Generoso Bingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Ekialde in the 76th minute of play. Arnaldo Timo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Gustavo Librado made a huge save. 2-0 became the score in the 81st minute when Eulalio Ekialde elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Carmelo Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Timo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Pali Vol got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Lizbeth. In the 96th minute Carmelo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Bingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Canaleja FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
