In the 6th minute, Marcial Anaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zacarias Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Maule in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Pali Vol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Ursino to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Desiderio Cordarrol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pali Vol's Alonzo Maule got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Kismi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Timo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Charatas AFC's Marcial Anaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Bingen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodolfo Laffitte charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Laffitte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgard Lon helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alonzo Maule to make the kick off. Zacarias Kismi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonzo Maule went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Romeo Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Generoso Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Ciceron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Marcial Anaya sped through Pali Vol's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Generoso Bingen. After a defensive mix-up in Charatas AFC's zone, Arnaldo Timo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Kismi came out of the goal and Arnaldo Timo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcial Anaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Bingen having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Timo notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Charatas AFC's Zacarias Kismi. Zacarias Kismi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Marcial Anaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Bingen was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Arnaldo Timo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Kismi having to interfere. Zacarias Kismi made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Arnaldo Timo sent off a good shot on target. The Pali Vol supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pali Vol would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
