Hornillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Pacuzito the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Hornillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Maxin to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Hanni got free with Rene Satordi in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rene Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Heli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Rosalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severiano Ibañez's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pacuzito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severiano Ibañez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hornillos getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Severiano Ibañez hit a great ball. Claudio Guillelme charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Rene Satordi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cleto Hanni showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match Damian Maxin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Chorache skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Iker Heli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Pacuzito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Heli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Pacuzito's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Heli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Satordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Rosalio to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Raimundo Rosalio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Satordi was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Satordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 played minutes Hornillos got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Ibañez. Zeledon Hernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. Cleto Hanni took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Satordi. Rene Satordi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 84th minute Zeledon Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Satordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Cleto Hanni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Pacuzito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Hanni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Zeledon Hernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rene Satordi came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pacuzito's Cleto Hanni. But to his dismay, Cleto Hanni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Deportivo Pacuzito walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
