Estudiantes Rio IV's Jonas Olando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes Rio IV from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Estudiantes Rio IV getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Leon Pirro hit a great ball. Justo Gilen's late challenge caught a Estudiantes Rio IV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Gilen helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Motomo FC got a freekick which was hit by Justo Gilen. Rogelio Naldo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amado Hermelando. Motomo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Estudiantes Rio IV's Jonas Olando got control of the ball when Ambrosio Ireno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46thth minute of the game Felipe Chus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes Rio IV's Jonas Olando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Motomo FC's Ambrosio Ireno got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Ivan Timo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amado Hermelando. Ivan Timo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Jonas Olando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Ireno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
