Andres Toro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TigreMatador. Erubiel Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Toro having to interfere. TigreMatador's Bernardino Rami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Oidor in the 35th minute of play. Florencio Bingen scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardino Rami, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Tallia during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Colonia Urquiza's Severino Tallia got a free kick in the 46th minute. A collision led to TigreMatador getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Constantino Santiago hit a great ball. After the first half Colonia Urquiza were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bernardino Rami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Oidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Erubiel Hibai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, TigreMatador's goalkeeper Bernardino Rami had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Bingen. Colonia Urquiza's Andres Toro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Belarmo in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Hibai in the 76th minute of play forced Colonia Urquiza's goalkeeper Andres Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If German Oidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amador Vitin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Colonia Urquiza's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Hibai came free, but Andres Toro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Mano hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Florencio Bingen came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Colonia Urquiza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Bingen couldn't finish the play. German Oidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erubiel Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Toro having to interfere. The Colonia Urquiza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colonia Urquiza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
