Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gabriel Mancio kicked off to start the match. Ruperto Eliazar charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Eliazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruperto Eliazar kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Oskarbi in the 8th minute of play forced El Marques's goalkeeper Ruperto Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes, Emanuel Olo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente de Caseros and the El Marques players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of El Marques booed when Independiente de Caseros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Olo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Frantzes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Mancio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Gerardo Tano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente de Caseros's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Tano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Pelagius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximino Gelmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruperto Pelagius came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente de Caseros's Benigno Oskarbi. But to his dismay, Benigno Oskarbi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benigno Oskarbi in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Pelagius saved El Marques from getting behind. When Maximino Gelmiro fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Marques's protests and gave Maximino Gelmiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Maximino Gelmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Gerardo Tano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Tano was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Benigno Oskarbi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ruperto Pelagius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emanuel Olo got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Emanuel Olo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Independiente de Caseros getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Fausto Leobardo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, El Marques's Silvano Rico got a free kick in the 68th minute. Ivan Maidana hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes Independiente de Caseros got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Damario. When Benigno Oskarbi came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Independiente de Caseros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Oskarbi couldn't finish the play. If Benigno Oskarbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When El Marques's Gabriel Mancio in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independiente de Caseros's goalie prevented a goal. Gerardo Tano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Pelagius having to interfere. If Gabriel Mancio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Independiente de Caseros defense, Gabriel Mancio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Frantzes. The Independiente de Caseros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Frantzes should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Independiente de Caseros walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
