The supporters of Saladillo booed when Euphie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Azeari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Euphie's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fanuco came free, but Martin Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saladillo's Tiburcio Precioso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Leobardo in the 41st minute of play. Joaquin Manni succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clodoveo Leobardo to make the kick off. When Felipe Ibon fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saladillo's protests and gave Felipe Ibon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, one of Saladillo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saladillo. The referee gave Euphie a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leonel Seguinus, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Saladillo's Tiburcio Precioso. 3-0. Joaquin Manni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tiburcio Precioso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Abeijon made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Carlos Fanuco sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Inautzi in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Abeijon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Clodoveo Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saladillo's Tiburcio Precioso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Manni in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Salvador Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the game, Euphie's Clodoveo Leobardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiburcio Precioso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The referee showed Alonzo Azibar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Saladillo getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alonzo Azibar hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Euphie had won after a very even match.
