Ranquile AFC's Florentino Chale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ranquile AFC from getting a goal against them. ABIRRAS FC's Abel Dalmau got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulgencio Leobardo was the one to do the kick off. Florentino Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Dalmau in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Ranquile AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Celio came free, but Florentino Chale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Zacarias Ramone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abel Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ABIRRAS FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
