Ladislao Calisto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Aresti having to make a save. After 20 played minutes, Tokegol FC's Cahangir Ağamämmädov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacobo Aresti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tokegol FC reached it. In the 21st minute, Tomas Isadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixto Jerardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jacobo Aresti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Hermengildo Ondino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Platino Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Ondino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Aresti came out of the goal and Ramon Ireno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramon Ireno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luis Gombal's late challenge caught a Platino Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Gombal helped the player get up and apologised. Luis Gombal hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Alonso in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvar Möllgren saved Tokegol FC from getting behind. If Hermengildo Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tokegol FC's Luis Gombal got a free kick in the 64th minute. Reynaldo Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Sixto Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tokegol FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Jerardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Aresti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chants of Platino Futbol Club echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Tokegol FC had held the ball for most of the match.
