If Jacinto Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 played minutes Hooligans got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Santxol. Ramon Orlondo's late challenge caught a FC Yupanqui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Orlondo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Hooligans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Orlondo to maneuver through the defense. Cesar Hunfredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Jobo having to interfere. Cesar Terciero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Ostots in the 17th minute. Cesar Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Raimundo Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FC Yupanqui's Jacinto Gombal in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hooligans's goalie prevented a goal. Cesar Terciero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Ostots in the 36th minute. A collision led to Hooligans getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Anselmo Fresco hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Cesar Terciero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Gombal in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute Jacinto Gombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Hooligans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Fresco to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Clodoveo Ostots ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesar Terciero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Hooligans's Anselmo Fresco got a free kick in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Gombal in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Terciero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Raimundo Fortun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesar Hunfredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cipriano Jobo having to make a save. Hooligans's Raimundo Fortun got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacinto Gombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cesar Terciero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Yupanqui defense, Ramon Orlondo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Jobo. The FC Yupanqui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Jobo should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Cesar Hunfredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hooligans had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
