In the 2nd minute, Ladislao Calisto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Clodoveo Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Cipriano Jobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Ireno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Tokegol FC's Sixto Jerardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cipriano Jobo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sixto Jerardo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Cipriano Jobo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tokegol FC. Cipriano Jobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Ireno in the 15th minute of the match. Clodoveo Ostots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Yupanqui's Cipriano Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Ireno in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of FC Yupanqui booed when Tokegol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koroğlu Alişanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Jacinto Gombal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvar Möllgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Sixto Jerardo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Tokegol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Jerardo couldn't finish the play. A beautiful save bye FC Yupanqui's goalie prevented a goal. After 33 played minutes Tokegol FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Porfiro. Ramon Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cipriano Jobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Jobo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixto Jerardo went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramon Ireno was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Yupanqui's Abel Firman got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ramon Ireno struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Cipriano Jobo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tokegol FC. Alvar Möllgren was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Jacinto Gombal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacinto Gombal really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 65th match minute, FC Yupanqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Cordarius to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Clodoveo Ostots got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvar Möllgren made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Clodoveo Ostots sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tokegol FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Santiago Cordarius was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Yupanqui's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Santiago Cordarius got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alvar Möllgren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jacinto Gombal might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvar Möllgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Gombal ran back to his position shaking his head. Clodoveo Ostots took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvar Möllgren. Alvar Möllgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. A collision led to Tokegol FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Luis Gombal hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes, Tokegol FC's Koroğlu Alişanov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cipriano Jobo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tokegol FC reached it. The FC Yupanqui supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Yupanqui would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
