But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Leobardo couldn't finish the play. Fulgencio Leobardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Maidana having to interfere. Fulgencio Leobardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lino Maidana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Ranquile AFC's Florentino Chale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Maore in the 30th minute of play. When Abelardo Maore came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Maraja jr fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Pereyra in the 93rd minute of play forced Maraja jr's goalkeeper Lino Maidana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
