Sixto Bibiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Sixto Jerardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ramon Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sixto Bibiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Luis Gombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 19 minutes, Isidro Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Olimpo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Rufio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Sixto Jerardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixto Bibiano. Club Olimpo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sixto Jerardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Isidro Christobal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alvar Möllgren. Tokegol FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Sixto Jerardo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Tokegol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Jerardo couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Ramon Ireno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sixto Bibiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Jerardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Bibiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Jerardo's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 40 played minutes Club Olimpo got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Ostargi. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisco George kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvar Möllgren. That made the score 1-1 in the 43 minute of play. If Eustacio Gergori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 56th minute, Francisco George left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Olimpo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ramon Ireno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nereo Ostargi hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Ramon Ireno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Olimpo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Isidro Rufio hit a great ball. Luis Gombal's late challenge caught a Club Olimpo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Gombal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Tokegol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Gombal to maneuver through the defense. Club Olimpo's Maximo Galtero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tokegol FC. Ladislao Calisto might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixto Bibiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Calisto ran back to his position shaking his head. After 82 played minutes Club Olimpo got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Rufio. In the 84th play minute Sixto Jerardo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sixto Bibiano. 2-2. In the 87th match minute, Tokegol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Jerardo to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Tokegol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Ostargi came free, but Alvar Möllgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sixto Jerardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
