The Angeles Lakers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Kiliz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Gai in the 18th minute of play forced TikiRiki FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Lleir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosendo Mede to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Angeles Lakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Mede came free, but Vladimiro Kiliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
