Bernardino Fidele received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kasper Nyström came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardino Fidele slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Vodka Juniors booed when LOS MALA FAMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Prejun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LOS MALA FAMA's zone, Aristides Calvet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Urre came out of the goal and Aristides Calvet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amador Gaitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Urre having to interfere. Benedicto Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Calvet in the 23rd minute of play. Aristides Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vodka Juniors's Aristides Calvet got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vodka Juniors's Amador Gaitano got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Amador Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amador Gaitano came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Vodka Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Gaitano couldn't finish the play. Aristides Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47thth minute of the game Amador Gaitano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS MALA FAMA's Benedicto Urre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardino Fidele was the one to do the kick off. If Elvio Pudes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Aristides Calvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Vodka Juniors's Aristides Calvet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benedicto Urre. That made the score 1-1 after 71 minutes of play. 79 minutes into the match, Vodka Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Pudes came free, but Kasper Nyström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Azevedo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Amador Gaitano came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Vodka Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Gaitano couldn't finish the play. Vodka Juniors's Kasper Nyström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Fidele in the 93rd minute of play. Bernardino Fidele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vodka Juniors were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
