The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Hulberto during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 4 minutes into the game, Pedro Dolfos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club de Acassuso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eternal Losers the free kick. After 4 played minutes Racing Club de Acassuso got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Dolfos. In the 8th minute, Justo Quintyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aquilino Tonio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Geronimo Ereinotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Geronimo Ereinotz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eternal Losers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eternal Losers's Justo Quintyn got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Ikatz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club de Acassuso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eternal Losers the free kick. After 29 played minutes Racing Club de Acassuso got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Ikatz. A nice corner shot did that Ramon Fidele got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aquilino Tonio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 39th play minutes Albano Pero shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Aquilino Tonio and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 46th minute, Ramon Fidele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urbano Torres made a kick off. Geronimo Ereinotz came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aquilino Tonio could save by the left post. 55 minutes into the game, Eternal Losers's Geronimo Ereinotz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquilino Tonio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Justo Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Aquilino Tonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Pero in the 60th minute of play forced Racing Club de Acassuso's goalkeeper Aquilino Tonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Torres took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Leguizamón. Eduardo Leguizamón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After 65 played minutes Eternal Losers got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Ereinotz. In the 67th minute Justo Quintyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Tonio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Racing Club de Acassuso got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Torres. If Joel Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Tonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Pero in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Urbano Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Leguizamón was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. 83 minutes into the game, Albano Pero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aquilino Tonio. Albano Pero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. Aquilino Tonio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Ereinotz in the 86th minute of the match. Ramon Fidele struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Aquilino Tonio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eternal Losers. Aquilino Tonio was a little too slow when Albano Pero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 3-5. When the match was over Eternal Losers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Racing Club de Acassuso throughout the match.
